Dr. Carolina Cavazos Guerra

Dr Carolina Cavazos Guerra has been a post-doctoral research fellow at the IASS from november 2013 untill december 2016, working on the SMART (Sustainable Modes of Arctic Resource-driven Transformation) project. She holds a PhD in climate science from University College London and has a background in oceanography (BSc and MSc). Prior to her time at the IASS, she was a post-doctoral research fellow on the Fennec: The Saharan Climate System Project and a convener for the MSc in Climate Change and Policy at the University of Sussex. She has collaborated with the University of Oxford on the UNDP Climate Change Country Profiles and CARIBSAVE projects. As a passionate yogi, she offers complimentary yoga classes at the IASS to help to contribute to the well-being of the institute’s staff.
